Amazingly, the grass isn't brown and crunchy yet, an unusual occurence around these parts this time of year. A few well-timed thunderstorms in the past month or so have rewarded us with the green stuff.
When we arrived in Ohio in late July, the grass was brown and crunchy. Then, the thunderstorms set in, and after just two days, the grass had greened up, and Dad had to mow the grass!
I'm a nice lady with a nice hubby and 2 relatively nice cats. This is where I talk about bits and pieces of the world I live in - good, bad, and indifferent - sprinkled with love, whimsy, wisdom, and a bit of nonsense.

I was *just* saying that about our grass here in Florida!

Your lawn looks very lush.
Your yard looks lovely! We're definitely in the crunchy phase here in TN.
Wow, I can't remember the last time our grass was green like that! Ours is mostly brown and crunchy too :)
We're staying green around here, too! All this growth maybe will make up for some really dry years we've had in the recent past.
