Our half-way, drop-off point is just outside of Roanoke, VA in a Long John Silver's restaurant. We've made this trip some dozens of times over the years and "our" booth/seats are always there waiting for us!! I think we've only sat somewhere else maybe twice. Anyway, everyone was happy to see each other... it was good to see a little sibling love going on!... and the boys are back home in SC.
I am so glad that you have such a close relationship to all of your grandbabies. They certainly love their MawMaw. Christy says that you are her best friend. That is wonderful. You both are exceptional people and have a beautiful connection.
I'm a nice lady with a nice hubby and 2 relatively nice cats. This is where I talk about bits and pieces of the world I live in - good, bad, and indifferent - sprinkled with love, whimsy, wisdom, and a bit of nonsense.

Aww, sweet pictures! I know you're sorry to see them go.
Love the one of you and your granddaughter -- you both look like you're so enjoying each other's company. :)
Awww, so glad you guys got to spend all this time together, and a safe trip home for everyone too. :)
Mmm . . . Long John Silver's! ;-)
