Ooo, that's beautiful! My birthstone is a topaz, but the only shade you ever see associated with November is that ugly yellow/gold one. Blech! I'd like my birthstone better if it was blue like that one. ;)
That is certainly beautiful. But the picture is so....professional looking. I'm impressed. By the way ladies that Lew is an amazing man. A definite keeper.
Wow! Marianne, this photo is amazing! LIke it should be in a fancy jewelry catalog or something. I have such a hard time with this type of photo. Great shot!
Thanks so much, all - I'm glad you like it. I really had to work hard on this one - can't tell you how many tries it took to get a good shot that wasn't all washed out by the light. I really need to learn more about lighting!
Yes, I think I'll keep my guy around for awhile longer - he's very good to me. :)
I'm a nice lady with a nice hubby and 2 relatively nice cats. This is where I talk about bits and pieces of the world I live in - good, bad, and indifferent - sprinkled with love, whimsy, wisdom, and a bit of nonsense.

That's beautiful Marianne! That Lew sounds like a keeper! :-)
Oh my gosh, that is so gorgeous!
That is stunning. I love the setting, too. You are a lucky lady!

That is gorgeous. I've tried taking pics of jewelry, and it is hard to get just the right light!
Fantastic job!
