I must get back to basics. I used to thoroughly enjoy spending my Sunday mornings reading the entire Sunday paper. I'd begin with the news, then sports, Metro, Style, and Parade, and saving the best for last, end up with the comics. Now I get most of my news from the TV or computer, and occasionaly skim the paper. I can't remember the last time I sat down and read the whole thing. And I like to read!

Day #42 - Sunday Comics
I must get back to basics. I used to thoroughly enjoy spending my Sunday mornings reading the entire Sunday paper. Now I get most of my news from the TV or computer, and occasionaly skim the paper. I can't remember the last time I sat down and read the whole thing. And I like to read!

That's one thing I've stuck with all these years. Even though I get most of my news from the internet and TV, I just can't do without my daily newspaper, and especially the Sunday one.

As a teenager I remember you waking up, coffee in hand (provided by your boy or me) and not coming out until afternoon. After a morning of coffee and the Sunday paper you were ready for the rest of the day to commence.

I haven't read a paper newspaper in quite a long time. I'm too stuck on reading news "up to the minute" online...
Ooh, love this picture! I'm a big newspaper reader too, it goes back to my childhood. I miss getting the "Parade" in our paper. They switched years ago to USA Weekend or something. I liked Parade better!

I know what you mean! I used to love reading the Sunday paper, now, we may get one a year. I love looking at the sales papers and coupons that are in there when we do get one though.
Some of the old habits are a good thing! :)
