Oh dear, we've eaten a good 2/3 of our "contaminated" jar with no ill-effects. Not sure what that means, but we probably shouldn't tempt fate and should just get rid of the rest of it. These foodborne disease outbreaks are occurring a lit-tle too frequently for my tastes... pardon the pun.
I'm a nice lady with a nice hubby and 2 relatively nice cats. This is where I talk about bits and pieces of the world I live in - good, bad, and indifferent - sprinkled with love, whimsy, wisdom, and a bit of nonsense.

Uh oh! Reminds me, I better check ours!
But June 5, 2008 has not passed yet...
Sigh. You're right - it seems lately as if EVERYTHING makes us ill.
Ok, my PB is Jif, so I don't need to check mine, right?
Sigh, better look anyway. Thanks for the PSA! :)
Now theres a great lottery to hit.
Ah, I get it now. I just read an article about contaminated peanut butter.
A friend of mine had bad PB and it made her pretty sick...yeah, I'd get rid of it. Makes me doubly glad I only buy Kroger brand PB! ;)
