Well, this didn't turn out quite the way I intended, but it was colder than cold and I wasn't about to stand out there putzing around for better shots... it is what it is.

You know what that makes me think of? Either the teeth or the claws on that big monster on Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer. ;)

I think your photo came out great! I've tried photographing icicles and can never seem to get a decent shot. That's got a really cool perspective.
Looks like a great shot to me, and I totally agree, I wouldn't have been out in the cold at all. I would have found a picture to take from inside, LOL!
