Whoooo ... it is soooo RED! heh! It'll take some getting used to but we really like it. I'm glad we did it.

Day #174 - Color Me Red...
Earlier this month, I talked about trying to choose a red paint for the front door. Well, we finally decided on Ruby Ring by Behr so Lew bought the paint, prepared the door, and did the deed today.
One more coat oughta do it.
Whoooo ... it is soooo RED! heh! It'll take some getting used to but we really like it. I'm glad we did it.

It looks great. Lew sure did an awesome job painting.
A new porch and a spiffy colored door - no one will be confused as to which house is yours! I agree, Lew did a great job. The first coat looked a little pink, but the second coat does the trick.
Oh, that looks awesome with it finished! I'm like Desert Songbird...thought it looked pink in the first photo, but it looks perfect all finished. That gold door knocker really looks good against the red, too.
Gosh, that looks great! I love that shade of red and I bet you're already in love with it! How many coats did Lew have to put on to get it to cover good and be that vibrant shade? He did a great job!

Thanks everyone - I passed your comments on to Lew. :) The flash did weird things with the color on that first photo. It's really a red red.
It has two coats in the second photo, but he gave it another coat this morning to even out some areas and it looks awesome! We are so pleased!
