Well, it took its own sweet time to do it, more than a week after its buddies put in their appearance, but this one finally bloomed today. I'd forgotten what it looked like so was delightfully surprised with the beautiful mix of color. It's so pretty in among the deep orange and lighter peach lilies. Well worth the wait!!

hello aunt mary, im so jealous, after many years (14) of enjoying similar gardens will have to start all over again in new house, will be a few years before i will be happy with outcome, looking forward to seeing more of your beauties in near future...
I'm a nice lady with a nice hubby and 2 relatively nice cats. This is where I talk about bits and pieces of the world I live in - good, bad, and indifferent - sprinkled with love, whimsy, wisdom, and a bit of nonsense.

your nephew, john
Oh Marianne! He is gorgeous!
Hmmm... I wonder what made me decide it was a "he?" LOL!
I love that two-toned color, and the water droplets make the photo. Great job, Marianne!
Both very beautiful, but that deeper orange in the bottom right of the photo is just gorgeous!
