Built around 1758, Schifferstadt Architectural Museum is one of the oldest and most historic buildings in the City of Frederick, Maryland, and among the best examples of early Colonial German Architecture in the country. More info can be found here. (it takes a bit to load)

Wanting to try my hand at some night time photos, I'm pretty pleased with the results. The top photo is with my digital P&S camera, the bottom is with the digital SLR camera.

These are both so awesome, Marianne! And interesting too. A part of the country I've not yet visited, so I love seeing all the fun places where you live.
That said, I think it's totally incredible that you and Lew are doing this together. It seems like you're getting out more and taking more photos of places in your area together. I am SO jealous of that! I wish my hubby shared my photography interest. I'm forever asking to go on "photo safari" as I call it. He's forever letting the door hit him on the behind as he heads to the golf course, LOL!

DS and Stacy - I decided that if I was going to do this again, I was darned if I was going to limit myself to so many indoor/yard shots again - I think I've taken a picture of everything in the house! lol
Actually, it's more of me sharing Lew's interest in photography instead of the other way around - he's been a great source of info and learning. I'm tickled his interest has been rekindled and we're both doing the project this year - it's going to be an adventure and we definitely plan on getting out more.
