The cardinals have been coming to nibble on the seed bells we hung and every time I try to get a picture, they fly off. I finally lucked out today when the Mr. & Mrs. opted for some acorns on the deck. Not as focused as I'd like but not too bad considering I took them quick through Lew's office window.)

Aren't they beautiful!? Love how you managed a Mr. & Mrs.
Awww, they're so sweet! I know the male is the brighter, supposedly prettier of the two, but I think the Mrs. is just adorable. Great job catching them. :)
We have a lot of cardinals too, and man, those little buggers are fast! I can barely get my camera in focus, even when I'm standing there prepared, before they fly away. They're fast, but so beautiful :)
Great shots, Marianne! Love that you got them both :)
I'm a nice lady with a nice hubby and 2 relatively nice cats. This is where I talk about bits and pieces of the world I live in - good, bad, and indifferent - sprinkled with love, whimsy, wisdom, and a bit of nonsense.

I love cardinals. Birds are not easy to get shots of...really nice capture!

This made me smile. Cardinals & bluebirds were my Gram's favorite birds, and when I see them now, I always think of her. =)
