In the winter, the local farmers spread manure - lots of manure - to prepare the fields for spring planting... charming odor!

Yup, smells lovely, doesn't it?! Around here, they use a lot of chicken manure too :)
Ah, yes, I remember. Those were the "good ol' days" for me...*grin*
No farmers spreading manure anywhere close, but we do have horses all around us and when the ground gets wet after it rains, it's probably close to the same smell...lol!
This is when I am glad we don't have olfactory output on computers :)
