I've been summoned for jury duty but probably won't serve this time. The maximum I can get from my portable O2 equipment is about 6 hours and not knowing how long I'd have to be there every day would make it impossible for me. I just wouldn't be able to lug extras around the courthouse. So, I'm waiting on a letter from my doctor that will excuse me. Too bad, I enjoyed serving before.

Marianne, I don't know how many liters your O2 is set on, but if mine is on 2L, I can get 13 hours out of one of those portable tanks that fit on the little cart. I use a conserving device -- you might want to ask your O2 supply place about getting one, if you don't already have one. I've been really happy to have mine several times. :)
Odd how those who don't mind serving are the ones who have good reasons for not being able to do so, and those who don't want to serve, try to find every excuse possible.
The two times I was summoned, I was nine months pregnant! I would have gone, but my doctor said, "No way!"
Oh wow, you should be excused for medical reasons. Did you get the paperwork sent in yet?
