Day 296 - SSDD

Now, now... be nice. I'm talking about Same SPOT, Different Day. ;)

I took several photos of squirrels and bluejays today, but they all turned out crappy so I deleted them but I did fulfill my project duties of taking a photo a day. Instead, I'm posting a couple I took recently when we were at Cunningham Falls State Park.

These were taken at the same spot but a week apart at different times of the day and under different weather conditions. Note the change in foliage color.

Day #320 - On my street... and in my yard...

The trees and leaves are looking especially pretty in my neighborhood now and I couldn't resist taking more fall photos on such a crisp, clear day.

Day #293 - Scenic route...

This pastoral scene with its pretty little red tree caught my eye as we drove through the woods today admiring the changing colors of fall in our area.

Day #255 - Park pleasures...

We had an absolutely gorgeous day today so while we were out and about, we stopped for a bit at Baker Park to enjoy the lake and its inhabitants.

Day #126 - Cozy corner...

Lew got the replacement azalea (second from left) in the ground today, and the front corner of the yard is looking much better now without the dead bush or the gaping hole it left.

Day #89 - Down on the farm...

This is the field and farm behind my house. It looks closer because I used my zoom, but it's a little over a 1/4 mile away. The field, separated from my backyard by a rusty ol' wire and post fence belonging to the farmer, used to be full of cows... I used to feed them clover through the fence. Though still a working dairy farm, ownership has changed, production has slowed, and the number of cows has lessened and relocated to the field beyond this one.

Day #77 - From Where I Sit...

This has been my view for a good part of the past few days. The plaid lump in the middle is my feet, covered by a cozy throw... complete with cat hairs. :)
