Day 253 - Serenity

If there is magic on the planet,
it is contained in the water.

Loren Eisley

A sunny day, the lake, the ducks, and time spent with my guy -- it doesn't get more peaceful than that. :)

Day 209 - Out and about

Packing boys, bikes and beverages into the van, we went on an outing to Carroll Creek Park and the extraordinary Community Bridge. Then we moseyed on over to Baker Park where the boys could ride and check out the bird population.

Christopher was already on his way.

Strolling amidst the people-friendly ducks and geese.

We spotted this newcomer, some type of sandpiper, we think,
who definitely stood out from the other birds.

It turned out to be a most pleasant day!

Day 88 - Spring things

As noted on Lew's Pics, Baker Park is in full spring greening mode and there was much to enjoy and photograph. From the willows and covered bridge to...

...the always hungry, people-friendly ducks who populate the lake. These two meandered across the street (protected by their personal crossing signs) begging for food before we even got out of the car!

The early flowering shrubs, trees, and flowers are showing their beauty, so in spite of overcast skies and a bit of wind, it was a lovely visit to the park.

Day #255 - Park pleasures...

We had an absolutely gorgeous day today so while we were out and about, we stopped for a bit at Baker Park to enjoy the lake and its inhabitants.
