Apparently the familiar red fireplug is becoming a thing of the past, at least around here. Most of what you see now are either yellow/orange, yellow/green, or occasionally, yellow/red. Some even sport trendy new "flat tops" instead of the unique little "helmet heads" we're so used to. Since the all-red models seem to be passe, I thought I'd record one for posterity. ;)

It's too bad the red ones are disappearing. They add such a nice splash of color in any season.

Things disappear, and most people don't even notice. Good that you recorded this for posterity.
