It seems that every photographer has taken, in one form or another, the classic ring -> book center -> light = heart shadow photo. Enthralled with the technique, I had to try it my amateur self for this week's theme of love and hearts. My "love" ring, our wedding rings, and the dictionary definition of marriage lend themselves perfectly to this experiment. Being unable to choose which photo to use, I decided on both.

That is just way too cool. I may have to try that myself!
I'm a nice lady with a nice hubby and 2 relatively nice cats. This is where I talk about bits and pieces of the world I live in - good, bad, and indifferent - sprinkled with love, whimsy, wisdom, and a bit of nonsense.

really and truly lovely - I have never really seen it before.
Love this! I've never seen this before, either. Very nicely done!!
Awesome shots, Marianne! I have never seen this before either, but you did a terrific job on both of these :)
Very well done. Beautiful. Happy Valentines!
I'm glad I'm not the only one who hadn't seen this done before. What a terrific idea!
I've seen it done with one ring before, but your take on it with *two* is perfect!
