It's a warm, rainy Friday at our house and I'm still playing around with close-up shots.There's got to be a better way - other than a tripod, which I don't have - to keep the darn camera steady! But I dont want to have to go to a whole lot of trouble to take a picture because then this project will become a pita instead of fun.
I'll have to think on it.

for steadying without a tripod, my "trick" is to try to brace myself against something or at least rest my elbows on a steady surface & then try not to breathe when i snap the photo. sometimes it works & sometimes it doesn't, but it's always worth a try in my opinion! that's how i got some of my best fireworks over Cinderella Castle shots!
Can't explain why, but I love this photo!
