Lew and I have been together, pre- and post-marriage for over 25 years. With the few exceptions of him being away on business or one of us being away for one reason or another, on every morning of every one of those years, there has been a pot and/or a full cup of coffee waiting for me when I got up.
THAT's love... and that's my guy!
Needing to replenish one of my wintertime favorites, I also took advantage of a Bath & Body Works special for tootsie scrub - regular price for one, only $5 for a second on selected items. Niiiice!
I'll be the first to admit it - my husband makes waaay better biscuits than me and I take full advantage of the fact. Early on in our togetherness, he introduced me to toasted biscuits for Sunday breakfast and I've been hooked ever since. So, periodically, he bakes up a batch of biscuits which we then freeze. Then we can enjoy a toasted biscuit or two whenever we want instead of having to rely on leftovers. One of life's little pleasures. :)
Funny how little things can bring us such pleasure. We bought a small throw rug for in front of the patio door and I just love the way it looks when the sun hits it. The photo doesn't really do it justice - the colors are richer - but it looks so nice on the new floor.
Beating the heat at my house with a couple of scoops of dulce de leche ice cream w/caramel sauce. Shoots the hell out of any calorie count, but oh my... yummy stuff!
Oh joy! After a change in management and much on again, off again with nail people, the salon I go to finally has a pedicure person. It's the little things in life that count, so I got me a major dose of tootsie pampering today.
