I'm going to assume that I haven't passed over into the Methuselah age yet and y'all will know what this is. In this era of computers, there's probably not too many of these "antiques" left, but I still have some elements that went with my IBM Selectric II typewriter. I even have a *gasp* manual Remington! Anyone else?

I think we still have an electric typewriter around somewhere. My hubby keeps wanting to get rid of it but I won't let him...lol! And yes I've typed on manual typewriters, too - learned how on one in fact, but I don't have one of those anymore!
You know what's really sad? I bet the younger generation wouldn't even know what the picture was of unless you told them...lol!
Yup - used to own both! I actually miss my Selectric. I wrote all of my undergraduate college term papers on that.
I'm NOT the younger generation and I DIDN'T know what it was! Must have led a sheltered life!!!
Am familiar with a wheelwriter.
I think we might have one of those around here too.
