So, I poked my head out the patio door this afternoon, and surprise, surprise! Peeking out from under the leaves that are falling were these pretty little purple sedum flowers. The surprise was that (1) they're flowering ... again and this late... and (2) the flowers are purple. They were bright yellow the first time! What an unexpected treat!
That is so cool! We had something like that early in the spring. Some shrub roses we planted last year that are yellow started blooming a dark red. They are yellow now, what is left of them, but I thought it was so neat that they changed, and that drastically!
Great shot too, love the leaves surrounding them :)
I'm a nice lady with a nice hubby and 2 relatively nice cats. This is where I talk about bits and pieces of the world I live in - good, bad, and indifferent - sprinkled with love, whimsy, wisdom, and a bit of nonsense.
