Some folks in our neighborhood really get into the spirit of Halloween. This was a clever decoration -- the head (with two faces) on the big one turns around and the lid on the smaller one lifts as a black cat rises up -- cute.
I'm still not too good with nightime photos so these aren't the best quality, but I couldn't resist -- with and without flash.

Messing around again with light and shadows with these itty-bitty pumpkins I picked up for a bit of fall decor in the house.

Well, it's that time of year, so off we went to our local fruit market/orchard today for some pumpkins to decorate with. While we were at it, we also grabbed some apples and fresh apple juice. Mmmm, mm - good stuff!
One of these years I'm going to get really adventurous and cook up some fresh pumpkin for pies, breads, etc... but probably not this one.
