Lew came home with a bounty of goodies from our local orchard yesterday. Looks like it's time to roast some peppers, make some apple and peach delights, freeze the rest, and gobble up that ginormous cantalope!
Mmmm... I wish I could find a good little farmstand like that! I took them for granted when I lived in CT, but here in FL? They are so scarce, and often filled with imported produce, which to me, defeats the purpose.
I'm a nice lady with a nice hubby and 2 relatively nice cats. This is where I talk about bits and pieces of the world I live in - good, bad, and indifferent - sprinkled with love, whimsy, wisdom, and a bit of nonsense.
