Day 350 - Mantle lights

Been a long time since I've had a mantle to decorate ... not since my first house 30-odd years ago... so I'm enjoying decorating this one, lights and all.

Day 154 - High light

Since I totally blew an opportunity for a really interesting looking up shot today (see why here), the dining room light will have to do. On the dim setting, it casts a nice glow about the room.

Ta dah!! We have light!!

Don't know why this one presented such reluctance in The Man - there's one on the other back corner of the house and one on the side of the garage - but finally the entire back of the house will light up like a Christmas tree should we have any unwanted, late night visitors... of the two-legged variety.
