Day 315 - Game pieces

I rarely use the black & white option on my camera... I just forget... so this week's black & white theme will give me good practice.

Day 205 - Roll the dice

A rainy day kept us inside with Yahtzee, and after baths, a repeat viewing of "Beetlejuice" is on the agenda.

Day 204 - Collect $200...

As we work our way through the games, tonight was Monopoly's turn. For a change, I won! :)

Day 202 - UNO

The grands have always enjoyed playing cards and board games and UNO is usually the first thing to get pulled out when they come to visit. Even though we have a newer one, this well-loved, dog-eared, old classic deck is the one we always turn to.

Day #214 - Games people play...

Just some of the games that we've played almost every day since the boys have been here... Sorry, Chinese Checkers, Trouble, Yahtzee. They'll be going home on Saturday... I'm not sure what I'll do with myself and all my "free" time!! ;)

Day #96 - All good things must come to an end...

Well, our week of play is winding down. We enjoyed a last game of Monopoly before dinner and the boys have gotten their things collected and packed up. Lew's done kitchen clean up and Dad has ducked out for a bit for a quick visit with a few of his school-days buddies. My guys will be heading back home in the morning... but I've just been called upstairs for another game of Uno!. Wheeee!

Day #95 - Games people play...

From generation to generation, we've been a game-playing family, and my grandkids enjoy playing with some of the games that belonged to their Dad when he was their age. Here's a sampling of what's been keeping us occupied this week.
