Day 178 - More pink memories

When she was still a lil bits, my granddaughter had long, silky, golden hair and loved having pretty, girly things in it. Her mommaw (aka me) loved brushing and combing that long hair and helping her put those pretty things in it. She's 22 now, and has outgrown her little girl hair pretties, but they (for this photo, the pink ones) still reside in her dresser drawer at my house... just in case. ;)

Day 177 - Pink memories

I took a picture and shared memories of my granddaughter's dolly stroller about a year and a half ago for a Saturday Photo Hunt. Since it's one of the few pink things around the house, I did it again. :)

Day #356 - Brotherly love...

Ah, the rewards that come with growing up. Finally past the constant bickering stage, brother and sister share a tender together moment watching TV.

Day #328 - Leaf picker...

Christy wanted to show her friends how pretty fall is in MD so she picked a bagful of leaves to take along on her trip home today. They don't get all these colors in her part of SC... probably has something to do with all those pine trees they have! ;)

Day #216 - Father and child reunion...

Our half-way, drop-off point is just outside of Roanoke, VA in a Long John Silver's restaurant. We've made this trip some dozens of times over the years and "our" booth/seats are always there waiting for us!! I think we've only sat somewhere else maybe twice. Anyway, everyone was happy to see each other... it was good to see a little sibling love going on!... and the boys are back home in SC.

Day #l89 - Mine... and his ...

My kid and his. Jim and Christy took off this am but we sure had a great couple of days. We laughed ourselves silly and just had a fun time. I expect the next few weeks with Christopher and Michael will be just as lively.

Day #188 - My grown-up baby girl...

Got myself a houseful of grands again. The boys will be here for a while, but Christy, hamming it up for the camera for me, is only here for the weekend and will be going back with Dad tomorrow. Gonna be a fun summer!
